Getting back to the question... A good model, if someone was sensible while making it has "limbs", a limb could be an arm, a leg, a weapon etc.
Say if you had an unarmed character and you wanted to arm him you could "Glue" an object which could be a weapon to his arm limb and then he would be armed...
Each limb has a different number... You can find these by running some kind of checklist... I don't know what it is offhand but it's a command you can find in the DGDK information help file...
