If you are trying to make a game, and you need a 3d model of a space ship, you can used the one attached to the post. I really don't care how you use it, just thought it was a cool design and seeing how i am not going to use it, someone would.

Also, send me feed back if it is working ok, or if you need any changes in it.

If you like my model, and you want another model of something else send me three pictures of that object-- one of teh top, side and front. ( I can't do human models, unless you want it really bad, and the model I make for you may not be perfect so...... Whatever.)

It's a 0 byte file... Something is wrong with the link or it didn't upload properly...

Well at least it opens... From the view of a noob who doesn't know the second thing about 3d modeling it looks very nice... I'll leave it up to the 3d gurus for the actual analysis...

Unfortunately, it seems like it has been subdivided like crazy...it has some where around 40,000 polys and seems to have some geometry problems. Interesting design though.

Wow, that's the first model my Reducer refused to lower polys on. Hmm.. I tried to help out by reducing it a bit.. but it just wouldn't!

No, I bought one from here called Action3d. I hear there are others out there as well, some for lots-o-dough, abd one free one though I never found it.

I like my action reducer usually, but haven't used it "Hardcore" yet. Seeing that it was unable to reduce that model has planted a seed of doubt.

I heard of baking in blender? Would that reduce the poly count, I read online that it did, and if so, does anyone know of a tutorial?

Then, my objects wouldn't be high poly!

Well, it doesn't really matter, just if you know anything, please tell me, I am also going to check on my other forum at blenderartist.org Maybe someone there knows what to do.....

Probably a better place to ask around... Not that there aren't awesome 3d gurus on this forum too...

LOL - BTW - I think it was cool how a model was being handed out in this thread. Note there is a guy on here named David Gervais (Spelling?) and he is a great 2d artist and he gives out pics and has on occasion inspired others to try-their-hand... and I think its all GOOD
