Team requests are not allowed here. If you get a working demo going, it could attract some people to join your team, but for the moment you don't seem to have enough to show.

yeah, I agree with z_man-- give us some more information. I am prbably not the person you want-- not great at programing, but for all the other people-- they need more information.

It's not what the developers and artists can do for you - its what you can do for the developers and artists!

That's a great philosophy! ... Although... it doesn't make very much sense... maybe a bit...

It makes a lot of Sense LOL why should a bunch of developers and modellers come running when some says they're needed? I'm a developer... Quite content.. why should I stop doing what I'm doing to help this person or that? What's in it for me?

Sound Selfish? Let's look at it another way....

Here you are... big game idea, and you could probably bring this vision to reality if you only could get some help! The question is, what can I do to "WOO" and interest developers and modeler's to stop what they're doing and help me? Can I offer Fame? Money? Does my idea look good enough and have enough "appeal" to get them to jump on the bandwagon at their own risk because I don't have money or real ability to promise fame? Do I have something I can trade?

There is a modeller on here I helped big time with some coding.. and you know what? If I REALLY need a model made, I can call him on that favor and I know from our discussions he would drop everything to help me out! How Cool is that?

did I only help him in exchange for a favor? No.. could have.. no shame in that... but back to the "Philosophy" stated above.. It wasn't what he could do for me, it was what I could do for him... and I know I can ask a favor just because I was thinking along those lines - of helping others... not because I get something... but chances are.. if you help a lot of people... and then need a favor... someone will step up and help.

So regardless how you look at it... (and spin it) that philosophy holds true! LOL

Well it only makes sense if both parties adhere to it... If someone does something for someone else, following that philosophy and the other person doesn't that person is the only who gets anything out of it...

True, and helping people expecting something in return is just as ... well... lame.

People who only take and never give back... well... its a character thing, and I think such character might qualify as in the "Mean" category... and like the bumper stickers say: Mean People Suck!

How true... BTW, offtopic question (what the heck, we're off-topic already): Does your avatar say Metallica... I'm sorry if it's a personal question but I was just wondering if you were a metallica fan...

Developers give enuff of themselves already in these forums, you can get help with just about anything, and then you learn how to do it yourself, and then in turn you can help others with what you learn. The whole point is that we learn how to do things here ourselves. erm... right?

Yes its personal - but you're talking to guy whouses his real name in this forum LOL... Yes I'm a Metalliza fan. I've been listening to them since they first came out...

I'm a musician too... go to my home page and you can see music I made... and laugh at me ... Reaper sounds Metallica'ish...sorta... and PrettyRock (2 minutes in has my fastest guitar solo I ever actually caught on tape... not my fastest but I'm proud of it... I did all the instruments myself... sometimes I used midi... but all the midi drums are my own - I don't download loops ... I program each note... with some cut-n-paste - but only my own work! I even try to sing - though all those recordings I only had a computer mike at the time and a homemade "popper" so my "S's" and "T's" would record ok... LOL

Kewl stuff. I'm listening to Beautiful Day while I type this.

My music ability is limited to playing some rhythm guitar and picking out a note at a time on the piano. From the day I built my first computer, an Altair 8800, I wanted it to play music since that was the only way I'd be able to create it by my own hand. In later years, once I'd learned to program in C, I wrote a program that converted text files into .ROL files and eventually I found a ROL2MIDI converter that allowed me to convert those to .MID format.

I've been looking into re-writing it for direct MIDI output but haven't had the time to sit down and experiment. Don't you hate it when you have so many thing you want to do and a roommate who won't give you any free time?

I think its pretty sounding... plus I can hum the words - (I never recorded the whole shebang) Kinda of "mush mush" song you sing to a girl you REALLY REALLY Like... Not show the guys! LOL

I'm confused... ... Do you want to listen to some music? If you don't care much for the music industry you can use FrostWire... Or you can go out and buy a cd or buy it off iTunes... IDK...

EDIT: Just checked my email... It explained your posts...
