Hello Everyone,

Ok... so i have read through all the posts. I've tried it all. sometimes i get the X file to load and show up in the editor and sometimes i dont... either way it never works right... for example:

Lets say i get it to work with my fpe, x, and image file... YEAH!!!

BUT wait... now try and add a player start position or run the game i either fall through the level (actually what is happening is where i place the player marker on the editor is not where i show up in the game) or everything looks good and when i go play the level there is just empty space where the object is suppose to be...

i have tryed objects, terrain, small, large, you name it... all i want to know is how to get X files or even dbo files to show up correctly in FPSC x10!

MAJOR UPDATE!

- i have this working with hours and hours of screwing around with settings and numbers...

heres the issue now:

i can get the map to load
i can get the player to start on the map

ISUUE IS the player is basically a camera and it only moves on one plane and walks through moutians. no collision and stays on same plane. how can i fix this?

using Polygon collision instead of Box collision might help.

Try downloading my terrain from this link. I made it a while back in FPSC X9 so may not work but I've included installation instructions in the download.
