Welcome!!! *echo echo echo*

Please enjoy FPSC. If you're ever looking for more than FPSC offers, take a look into some of the Mod threads around here. EFX and AirMod just to name a couple are great and do expand on FPSC a lot. Would be worth checking them out if you ever start finding yourself getting bored with FPSC.

It very much is! I mean, have you seen March to War? Airslide is making that in GameMaker, and I think I'd pay to play that baby once it comes out!

Welcome to the community, Cody. Hope you'll have a pleasant stay.

BTW, here's something to get you going:
FPSC Hints & Tips; By Nickydude
The AI is somehow "stupid" after you'd mess up some levels.
Airslide's AI pack; by Airslide (@Airslide, Torque's one good indie engine.)
Sensei AI v2.0; by Butter Fingers,

Never underestimate the power of graphing paper and pencil for concept brainstorming!

God Bless! ('cause "good luck" is just for losers.)

Err..where did that come in? Anyhow, Torque's a mess in my opinion, prehaps a good game engine itself, but lacking some basic features, and the media for it is all different sizes and the community is a pain.

@Airslide, In my opinion, Torque maybe supah advanced but I got my feet dirty there. Maybe quite, just opinion. Quite confusing, so I landed on FPSC.

Yeah. When Lee gives us v1 users v2 for free, he'll want to get his stun gun and make sure that we will be dreaming about it for the next several hours.

I love it when people start talking torque.

What is the difference between the Torque and FPSC engines?

Torque is hugely over rated and FPSC is highly understated.

If you want proof then download the 'Ork Village' demo from the Torque website and play it. LOL. Don't take my word for it. Actually do, you'll be mad at me for wasting all that precious bandwidth.

Now, on a serious note some of you will have seen the TGC exclusive revelation of Leadwerks Game Engine 2.0 which looks pretty special and will certainly appeal to all those 'Can I use 3D world studio to make my maps' people

http://www.leadwerks.com/
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLAsjJmReEM&feature=related

Looks like thats going to one for those with a passion for coding though. FPSC X10 doesn't look too far behind though.
