l was just wanting to know if it is possible to keep the same weapons on a new level as you had them before or would you have to pick them up again.

Yes you do keep the weapons you picked up in previous levels...

What you cant do is to drop the weapons from the last level

Well, i think I should say this, but Dark fact created a stunning game worth a download but what it did was build many little games that had 3 levels that were all meant to be the same area, thus making the maps longer, like hl2.
but it used a launcher to launch these games, like so each little game had a set of weapons, these weapons carried on throught out the levels, but not the entire game, thus meaning that you could play the first game with a pistol and a rocket launcher, then play the second game that let you play with a pistol and a MG.

So by simple scripting you could create a launcher to do this, thus meaning that the player would complete one game, then move onto the other, but instead of calling each game a game, you could call it a misson, this meaning that this was hidden from newbie users of fpsc.
