I'm happy with it on my PC.
Runs smoother than on TV, as long as you don't mind the black borders (I refuse to stretch the pixels, because they look like hell then).
TV is rapidly ceasing to be part of my life. I'm looking to buy one of the adapters for TV to monitor when they start making a cheaper version that supports high res for DVD and gaming. But,really, what is even the point in that? Right now, tuner cards are cheaper.
Emulation isn't all that evil.
In a way, it's a strange confirmation of how good the old SNES and Genesis games were. After all, there's a whole slew of PC games out there now that, visually, make the 16-bitters look like nothing.
But, in those days, because they didn't have wow-power, you had to make a good game. Not too many games with solid play anymore.
Zelda 2 was awesome. One of those games you just knew was an all-timer the second you played it.
I felt almost raped when I saw Nintendo make the first 3-D Zelda. Mario was one thing, because they never settled on the style for Mario (remember the difference between SMB 1,2,3, World? From a plumber to shrooms to a racoon to a cape and dinosaur). Zelda was pretty locked in in game style from NES to the SNES.
We can't stop here! This is bat country!
