Dark GDK / Playing .avi files with darkgdk

Hi I am very new to dark gdk and dark basic. I downloaded dark basic trial and fell in love instantly. SO I downloaded the gdk.

I however cannot find in the documentation where/how to play an avi file. This was in the animation files in dark basic pro.

Or does the gdk not support avi "out the box".

I don't think there are any commands in DGDK that will let you directly play video files... If you want to do that consider using the windows media player library or something like that... I'm not sure... But I'm pretty sure there isn't a special command in DGDK allowing you to play video files...
