I am using blender as my 3d object maker, and I need to figure out how to set it so that there are limbs on the object when you expoort them into a .x file

If you need any more information about what I am doing or I am not clear enough, tell me and I will try to explain

thanks!

Check out this tutorial. It'll go over the very basics of animation. This should walk you through everything you need.

well, that is cool and it is a good tutorial, but will it still have those limbs when it exports into a .x file and then you use it in a darkGDK game? I want to use the function dbRotateLimb ( ) in darkGDK, and if I do that to an object in blender will it work?

Thanks anyways!

Yup! The limbs/bones created in blender, when named and parented properly will be usable in the DarkGDK without a problem.
