No, it just says it is, since the editors config file says so, and the updater server too. The core engine is 1.09, since you need to update to 1.09 before installing the store.

@POD - So, then it is a typo. As I said if it bothers anyone that it says 1.07, you can always change it to V109 in the file I mentioned. After changing it, it will say whatever it is you replace it with. You could even put something like: This is my program so keep your hands off. It would show this every time you start FPSC.

You might still have a chance, because not all of the people before you were accepted as testers.
Like me, because I was just accepted as a publisher so there wasn't a need for me being a tester!
I am off of the tester list, so that is one less person that's ahead of you.

After updating and then copying over the store files when I load up FPSC it says v1.07 does it say this for everyone else?"

That v107 display seems like an easy fix for them though, so who cares as long as the variables in v109 still work.

Thanks Flatlander.
I think it is going to be awhile though, because my store is not working right.
All of the thumbnails are solid black, so I cannot see any of the models in there yet.
I guess I will work on making a little 64x64 pixel icon while I wait.

My Editor says v107 also, but I tested my v109 cash scripts and they are still working great.

He's a busy man, and no need to worry about not being in the Beta, the store will soon be open. I have found to bugs as of yet, and I tried every feature in it.

Good grief, I feel so stupid right now.

If anyone else has a problem with all of the thumbnails showing up as solid black squares...
(I doubt they will because this was a really stupid user error)
...simply confirm your color settings are right.

I had set my colors back to 16 bit the other day, and forgot to set them back to 32bit.

I forget things all the time now, so I guess I am just getting old.

Sincerest appologies Paul!

Got my email this morning, but no sign of the 2000 points to play with? I'll have a play about and a browse and see how things work though.

Cheers,
Paul

Wait a minute, does everone get 2000 points to play with, or just the testers? Because that seems really unfair, being as some people couldn't email you when you posted, due to time differations.

No, that is not unfair. If you sent an email to test this, but you had to buy points, that would be unfair. TGC isn't going to give everyone $20.00.

The idea is that we get to test the new store, and find any bugs with it. We're not getting £10 for nothing, it's just to reward us for helping.

Store looks awesome.

I agree with her. That's stupid. TGC dont need to give us all $20.00, they supply the points for free. They don't need to pay for points. We should all get 2000 points, because the testers are just basic fpsc users like the rest of us, only they get 2 advantages. 1: They get to use the store before us, and 2: They can buy some of the cool items ithout spending a penny. I would have thought that testing the damn thing is privelage enough, never mind getting rewarded for it.

Think about what you're saying. If testing the damn thing is priveledge enough, but you can't ask people to test it and have to buy their own points. What would you suggest? Let them have infinite points, and get, I dunno, a grand of models for free?

Sorry, but you weren't one of the lucky people who get to test the store. Live with it, I would have liked to test, but I can't, so I just put up with it.

Sheesh, TGC went to the effort of creating the store, and they needed some people to test it, which is a legitimate reason for giving away points. Stop arguing about not getting £10 from a company which has already given you a heck of a lot for your money, please. The points ensure we can test the thing properly, not many people would want to put money into a system which hadn't been properly tested.

Even though I got the points free, I bought points anyway.

Besides, we are also here to report bugs, and help them with idea's. Not just to get 20 dollars worth of models for nothing,

Thats kindof weird, signing up for a Beta without having the program yet to test it with...

It would have been better if someone else had your spot, someone who COULD use it.

Its true, if you try to stop the complaining and tell people to just shut up, they will only start to call you names or get you noob-slapped.
