Have you upgraded to the latest version of FPSC? I think the latest is v1.09 B10.

Games take a long time to load in test mode. When you build a game, the finished game levels will load much quicker.

Every time you test a game, FPSC has to create the lighting again. In a built game it just loads these files.

Check your preferences in FPSC. If you have all of the options set to the max (such as lightmap quality) this is why it is loading so slowly. I had the same problem as you, but when I put all of the settings on their low option, the game loaded in around 20 seconds.

Your FPS is at 32 which is normal. But it looks like shaders are on. It can really slow it down sometimes.

Even if I lower the Lightmap setting and texture quality, game load time did not decrease and is 50seconds. also the game takes a lot of space (this map - 85 mb). What else could i do to make it load faster and smaller in size?

The light markers are too big. left click on them, and reduce the size with [ & ]. The red ring is how far the light spreads.

I have everything cranked up but have 4gb of ram, it takes some time to load, but is acceptable,

my real problem is with in singleplayer maps, it loses the files for the charactr bots, so i have to reinstall everything, i'll try updating to 1.09, but if anyone has any suggestions please...
