Is it possible to create First Person Shooter games in an outdoor enviorment? What I mean is the player is always outside running around killing people and doing things, is that possible and if so what steps would be needed to keep the game at a good frame rate?

FPSC was not meant to make outside areas, at least big areas. first off AI has lots of glitches and they get stuck alot on terrain, and second if you have a big area you will have lots of frame rate drop. i dont think there is much you can do to get better FPS but never the less there are several games that have very beautiful outdoor areas if you go to the show case, i think there are currently two games that have nice outside areas. hope that helped a little

Castek is telling the truth, you can. But its very limited. You have to use alot of tricks to get it all to work, and when it finally does. Other issues will come around the corner(FPS Drops and such)

Terrain will be fully supported by FPSC in the v2 migration.

Lee's confirmed it.

Enemies will then be able to run around and traverse terrains and imported maps e.g. 3dws with no collision issues.

It will be awesome
