First off: I think this belongs more to 3D Chat than 2D Chat. In my opinion, 2D Chat is more for Banners, Wallpapers, that kind of stuff. These textures are clearly ment to be used in 3D Work, so I guess that here are more people who could use them.
Okay; Some time ago I began to take photos of different surfaces and make textures of them. They're now at a point of quality were I think it's okay to make them available to the public, in case someone can find a use for them.
The textures are sorted by quality (age), the ones at the bottom are quite old and were made with Paint.Net, so they aren't as good as the ones at the top (they're also far from perfect).
Unfortunately I can't afford a reflex camera, so all textures appear quite blurred when zoomed in.
The textures are available at a
temporary page I set up as I'm atm designing/programming a new homepage.
I just have to mention jinzai's jzImageMagick++ Plugin, as it made it possible to program nearly the whole page in DBPro. This saved me a lot of work, thank you! (The preview images and imagemaps are generated by DBPro)
