I want to create well have been asked to create a game which is for junior school kids which I help teach. subject maybe maths I dont no, well anyway does anyone know a way of creating one which will be interesting yet not to complicated for them as I have limited knowledge myself, maybe 2d be best but I need examples and help ideas anything to start me off.

why don't you make a world that the childrn can explore ? a mathematic world, for example, with questions, equations and others things like that

how about doing a it based on an already accessable character... like the Tweenies or Bob The Builder - i dunno something the kids can first relate to.

have a few games which do over a few subjects... but structure them in a way that the kids will want to learn.

like say Bob the Builder could be on a building site and have say 3th peice of wood on his right, 5th on his left then he says something like ... "i have 3 and 5 peice of wood, so how many peice of wood do i have?"

then move onto nails... perhaps cutting them in half or into 3.
ya know simple things they can relate to

this is middle school, not kindergarten, lol dont use bob the builder or ya may get shot up. lol, just do somthin like make a matrix, make a bunch of shapes and make them walk around then when they get to a square they answer a few problems, and if they get them all right they get a star and then when they get lotsa stars they get a passing grade. :-s lol i tried
