Hi, first let me say that I have been on these forums for the past month checking out posts. Thanks to all the regulars who have posted answers to many questions (so I never had to ask them, just do a search).

Now I have a question and I can't find the answer. Hope this isn't a dumb question...Here is goes:

I downloaded 1.09 and I can't find the lockpick to give the player to open a door I set to doorlockpick.fpi

Where is the "lockpick" located?

Thanks

Yep. Give an entity (like a key for example) the lockpick script, it's under Files/scriptbank.

Here ya go:

Just ignore all the scripting information and you'll get what you're looking for.

Thanks, but it still doesn't seem to work. Here's what I did:

1. Placed a door and set it's main to doorlockpick.fpi
2. Placed a key on the floor and set it's main to pickuplockpicks.fpi

That didn't work. So then I did the same thing again with another door, but added to the door Use Key - Key1 and labeled the key with the pickuplockpicks.fpi Key 1.

That didn't work either. When I go up to either door, it doesn't do anything.

Anyone figured out how to get this to work?

Also, it would be great if the game creators could include something that resembles a lock pick (wish list please).

Thanks

You have got 1 and 2 right.
To open the door go up to it and hold down use key,
its the return key. (it is for me anyway)
The door will then open.

I hit enter and and it took several times of hitting enter for the door to finally open, but it did.

Thanks!

OK, re-read your post and realized you said to hold down the enter key. I held it down and it worked great!

Thanks!
