He is my first human model. Please tell me what you think, but don't be too harsh. And I know that the head needs more detail, but I am working on it. I will post model and texture updates soon.

From the words of a moderator...
"To post your model on a 3D Forum and not expect critique is sheer foolishness."lol
Yeah Darimc it needs better detail I know.. I know that its your first human model blah blah. But it needs major tweaking the head is a sphere and I know you said you will model the head better, but the model is rushed, the body looks like a high-poly cube scuplted out into a chest. Oh I never used CBModel Pro, so I don't know how difficult it is compared to blender so. Yeah don't take anything offense its just what I see when I saw the model.

Hmm, sounds like its not your first then otherwise how could it be an improvement...

Anyway, as has been mentioned already, it does need more detail and the shapes, proportions and joints aren't right so try reference images. It also looks like its quite a high poly-count but I may be wrong.

Not trying to dishearten you, keep at it and you will get better!

Thanks for the help guys. And the head is just a sphere right now because I didn't add detail but I will work on it.

I never said no critique, I said don't be harsh.

It needs massive amounts of work. The feet and hands are stretched out cones, the torso is too wide, the arms and legs are too cylindrical, theres no muscle definition in them, the crotch isn't defined, the proportions aren't correct to the human anatomy, and you should never start with a sphere to model a human head, a box divided 3 times vertically, and 2 on the other axis' is a good starting point. Theres also the issue of there not seeming to be continuous, flowing edge loops, although a wireframe would help to see this problem.

Post a wireframe and we might be able to do a drawover of how your mesh could be tweaked to look better.

Good attempt at a first human, but Id consider starting over with what you've learnt, and looking into tutorials.

Its CBModel it makes crappy models. And over-uses Triangles.

Unless you turn it onto High poly count, then it looks beutifull.

@RUCCUS, Thanks. And I will see if CB Pro can take wireframe shots.

@Deathead, only if you are inexperienced with it like me.

Thanks.

I honestly find Blender GUI the easiest one I have ever used Might just be me though...

If someone says "pls" because it is shorter than "please" I say "no" because it is shorter than "yes"...

I love the Blender interface. It's complicated, but oh so easy.
