That's an extremely informative bug description, great description of any error messages, pc specs, and the map you're compiling.

And still a question - what for at compilation of game (program) to check the equipment on compatibility? Any compiler does not check a video card on possibility of start of game on the given computer, and you checks. What for?

64bit runs very few programs due to chipsets not being backwards compatible

I'm running Vista Home premium 64 bit and I have no problems compiling a game at all, so I think the problem is coming from your PC, either it’s a old driver or bad drivers or you need to update your DirectX to the latest version, and the DirectX 10 ATI video cards still don’t all function properly with FPSC X10 and this is a know issue I had a ATI 3870 and it didn’t work very well with FPSC X10, FPSC X10 was written to work with Nvidia Geforce 8000 series video cards, also make sure you do not change the default director when compiling your game becuase this will cause it to crash also.
I'm running a Geforce 9800 GTX and right after I read this I compiled a test game just be sure and I had no problems at all with this card either.

I'm using the Catalyst 8.6 drivers and latest DirectX Runtime, it doesn't Build the .exe for me either. And i'm on Windows Vista Ultimate 64.

Going to try and reload it using elevated privileges. That may help.

Update: yup, you have to run the program in elevated priviledge mode, so when you want to build a game make sure you Launch FPSC by Right clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator", Otherwise It won't save any of your work.

I was going to mention that, but figured he was running as administrator lol.

Lord FireFox@ how are the Catalyst 8.6 drivers working with X10, I was having a problem with more than 5 or 6 characters in the same room using Catalyst 8.4, if I had less than 5 characters X10 worked fine, but over 5 and the characters would disappear and I would get bad lag.

I carry out all programs as the manager.

The question was to developers - what for the compiler checks an equipment configuration? After all the such is done by one compiler!

Sorry my English. I from Ukraine.
