Hello people, again I am ready to ask a scarily newb question but I'm new to this still and don't mind asking if I am new. I have done the search before anyone says to do one and couldn't find anything, it might be I don't KNOW what the problem is to ask but that's neither here nor there.

The Problem;
I dl'ed a good looking model of a lead pipe I would like to use for my game, I put all the files where they should go according to the readme, ran the test and...The pipe didn't appear, it's there, I can use it as a weapon and hit other entities but it's invisible and I'm confused how to make it appear. Now I should mention that the item was made for x9 and I am using x10 and have had several things do this to me. Can anyone tell me what it could be(thinking shaders or maybe it's scripted for use with hands)and how if at all I might fix it? Cheers folks.

No sorry, there's alot of X9 stuff that doesn't work for X10.....

I recommend you try making the lead pipe yourself, it'll be a simple cylinder with a metal texture.....

I have returned, after 28 days of exile, fear me!

Not exactly sure how one would go about that. I have Blender but it's a seriously confusing program. I am trying to find one that is easier to use. And even once finished I'd be at a loss for how one does a texture.

Most user-made models work in X10, like models by members on the forums. But I don't think most will work after the V1.09 deletes all .dbo and .bin files.

We are the cost of a world gone wrong.
