Cool, I like it, but maybe make the eyes smaller and also eye shaped.
and maybe add more of a texture to the thing under the neck?

Nice work.
The feet and fingers look a bit long but well shaped.
It obviously needs texture work, but the model is not bad.
I see a triangle sticking out of the back of his arm though.

Is his name Simon?

C&C here,
that texture needs ALOT of work.
The model is , uh, okay.
but if you get a nice texture on that itl be fine.

Wow daniel you are so reading my mind. I wanted to get a sword armed man for my up coming hack n slash game and your making one! I was going to say that this soldier got wounded and was burned when the engaging army burnt down the house he was in and he escaped with severe burns and his hands had to be amputated. A crazy doctor amputed his arms and replaced them with swords and now he seeks revenge on those that did this to him. If u make a gritty/ ruff texture for him, I would be extremly interested in your cool model. Looking good.

Your friend,

yes , its all in practice, i have finely done it properlly. as far as a tutt i explain that in the necking of the objects that is how to define the head and hands so this is what i did, first i necked the head just right after i put it on, used the neck tool. then hands then feet, then i make the rest of him. i have him compleat now and will do a tutt when i have the time.

Daniel wright 2311, all your characters look like generated meshes which you have edited. Your UV maps are also quite poor as all you have done is generate the front and back UV's for the models, leaving distorted areas that look awful.

I think your taking more credit than you deserve :\

Also, I'm pretty sure some of the texture work is not your own. I can tell this by looking at the eyes and skin on your first screens.

If you cheat at modelling, you're never going to get better at it.

Higgins, the texture work is mine, this model is perfect in every way. and i dont need to listen to your bad review when i worked long and hard for this model.as far as credit goes. credit is given to those that deserve it. and with all my hard work i diserve it.my maps are not perfect for the fact that im still learning how to map.but as far as my model if you took the map off you would not say such things about my model.as far as the generated meshes i can prove i made them all from scratch exept my devil wich the head came from another program.

That sounds a little too humble. No ones work is perfect.

@Higgins, Give him a break, he's still learning. Just because his models aren't up to the quality of yours, or guys like Jon, Bond or Rolfy does not mean that you should put him down. I agree, the texture needs some work, but try to be nice about it.

I'm just fed up of all the kiss ups that comment on how great some thing is, when it really isn't. You need my criticism, otherwise you'll be trapped in your dream world :\

I agree with Higgins, but when I give criticism, he turns it down, also I guessing you didn't see this post from your other thread..
Quote: "Anyways reason being why I complain is that the models are not greatly presented, like the feet look webbed all the time, the whole model looks like a lump of clay mushed together. Judging by the amount of triangles it uses I'm guessing it is just for High-poly models only, and the Software shows it as High-poly, and the output model is very poor in terms of quality. Like your recent model, there is alot of seams on the texture, the armour texture looks somewhat out of Realmcrafter's Base models, and the heads are just a sphere, the body is most likely a sphere being molded out to make arms and legs, guessing by lack of detail, a modeller using a real modelling package, uses quad wireframes and has finer details to the model, where as CB Model Pro lacks that, it is just a minor program which as I said before its just a mess-around software and nothing which will be used in commercial games. The models are mostly showcase models, if you can get enough details out of it."

i apreshaite your criticism, if im in a dream world then i guess my guys suck. if you ask me i think the mapping is really good for someone thats just learning to map.and yes he is great to me, he is my creation so to me he is wondefull.other people like him and ill try harder to make the maps. the textures are not the problem its getting them in the right places. also i would like to add that none of my models look bad and ive seen whats in the store and if i had to judge mine fit the par.not my other stuff but my new stuff is really good.i have got someone to map for me so really soon my stuff will be perfect.

@Daniel, Here is a little bi of advice. By saying that your models are great and how wonderful they are, you are bragging. Please don't do that. And on the TGC Store topic, I have to tell you that your models are not on par with Jon or Bonds. Your models are nice, but they are not the best. That is where practice comes in.

well i agree, i never said they where but have you saw in the store, its just not them two in there, and i never once said my stuff was the best.ive been doing this for a verry long time and i finely learned how to do human figures. im just excited about my stuff. if im going to get reamed just to show my stuff i dont think its worth getting reamed over.but as far as being critisised i think thats rong. if your going to do it at least do it in a e-mail and not in front of the world.
