what is exactly FPS? Is it a level editor or does it create a full game with several levels? Do I have to use another tool, like Visual C++ to link the several levels?

fpsc is a game making program that requires no programming. You use a sims-style editor, placing objects, walls, floors and ceilings wherever you wish. You can also easily import your own media. When you have done, you just press a button and it creates a .exe with all the required files.

FPS itself refers to the camera view you play in, you cannot see your character, you play AS him/her.

FPSC, as Aaagreen said (what a weird name ) is the game creation software thhat we all use, it was made in Darkbasic Pro, which was made in C++ (i think) And BTW if your thinking of buying its well worth buying

Ocho

Consider the discount you get when bulk buying model packs when you buy, i suggest get all but pack 11-15 and i reccomend
2 4 9 10 16

Hold on, if FPSC was made by DBPro and DBPro was made by C++, then what made C++?

If it feels good, it's a sin.

It was conceived along with the thought that you could process information through electrical pulses in a circuit. Basically when electricity is flowing, then it's a 1, if it's not then it's a 0.

C++ is one of the many so called "machine codes". Dark basic is not a machine code due to it's not speaking with the computers hardware, which C++ does.

Or something like that, i don't quite remember

Well lets just put it this way

If Carlsberg made a game engine, it would be FPSC!

You can go ahead and figure that one out.

I don't honestly think that Lee is an idiot wearing a toga. He could be wearing a toga, but I don't think he's an idiot...

Wait, if God was made by an idiot wearing a toga, doesn't that make the idiot wearing a toga, God? Lol. So in a way, God made himself so he could make electrical pulses and so on.

And Binary was made by electrical pulses
And electrical pulses were made by God
And God was made by an idiot wearing a toga
And the idiot wearing a toga was made by The Toasty

And I just made toasty bread...
Then I made FPSC?
Egad, I'm going to go back to college, I can't make crap.

No... DarkBasic is written in C++, which probably is written in C, which probably is written in assembly, which is written in binary, which the computer can directly understand. Zuse Z1 was directly responsible for the computer. And so Konrad Zuse made the Zuse Z1. So who made Konrad Zuse??? The Flying Spaghetti Monster did.

I didn't mean for the joke to continue this long. I expected a couple of chuckles, but nothing more...

As for the software, it really is worth buying. Not as a main gaming engine, but as an intro into game design. You'll learn a lot of stuff about optimization, placement of objects and more. Very good use of money in my opinion.

I feel sorry because I repeated probably what people are being offended by. I didn't mean it to cause any religious harm. I do find it slightly offensive, but I've learned to have a good sense of humor about these types of things and move on... Oh well. I really am sorry if I personally offended anyone. It was meant to be a simple joke, and now it's created an annoyance...

Possibly. And I truly am sorry. I didn't mean to cause any problems. I was simply connecting the dots. It just so happened that the dots were the way they were. If it means anything to you, I can edit the post out.
