I've just installed 1.09, run a level I'd built previously, and noticed that my large entity textures now seem really fuzzy.

Anyone else experienced this, or know possible causes? I'm using 1024 x 1024 textures. The segment textures haven't changed.

No, but give us more details.

What format is the texture saved as, a JPG?

You may want to convert it to DDS if it isn't already.

When you update the texture preferences change, just go to preferences and set it back up to 512.

Many thanks for taking the time to respond...

I tried switching the textures to dds format and it seems to have fixed the problem.

I had the converted dds file in the entitybank, but the entity fpi was using the unconverted bmp texture. For some reason, these bmp textures looked fine in 1.08, but not in 1.09. Anyway, dds is working fine.

Thanks a lot for your help!
