Well i made is vary small program that will tell you the key code when the key is hit
It's nothing fancey.it's mostly for the ppl that keep asking for the code's now they dont have to ask =)



Edit:Sorry i fixed the program it work's now lol =)

I did this

If textbox1.text = "A" then
label1.text = "30"
End if
If textbox1.text = "a" then
label1.text = "30"
end if

i dont know why it did that ill try to remake it
I deleted the scr so i have to start new

Edit: OoOH i see what i did i for got to add q so when you try q it will stay at the same code of the last key

Haven't used VB for a long time but I'm sure there's a function called ASC() which returns scancodes. Something like 'keycode=ASC(keypress)' might have saved you a lot of work.

Yeah, VB2008 is quite a difference from VB6.0... Thats why I stay with VB6 most of the time.

but i like the looks of vb 2008 WAY better then vb6.0 2008 makes your apps look kooler lol
as VB 6.0 buttons look like windows 98
