sorry about the noob question but how do i get it to show the fps on the screen. i use dbtext and all but i get an error. CANNOT CONVERT int to Char* how do i do this.

you need to convert the screenfps() value to a string. Here's the code necessary:

dbText(10,10,dbStr(dbScreenFPS()) should do it

If you look in the Dark Dungeon demo code, you'll find a showFPs() function, it uses... wsprintf?

FYI, many reports of Frame rate display being buggy. I dont remeber why, but you can search.

You can use sprintf, and I personally prefer that method.
