When ever i put a if collison

it will always say thier is a collison even if the objects are a mile apart

Yeah, that happens to me, is there ever a collision? If so, then you need a while loop. If it is an if, it says-

If this EVER happens, Do this.

A while loop would mean-

While this is happenning do this, but when it stops, don't do it.

Uh, I was just thinking logically, when you say if, it means if it EVER happens, when you say while, it means if at present time it happens.

what objects are you using to check for the collision? GDK uses bounding boxes to check for collision, so it basically only works well with cuboids. you should try sparky's if you want to do collisions with complex objects.
