Wip of my latest model a WWII landing craft, currently 4000 polys but that will come down to around 3500 when finished. The front door is obviously rigged for in game animation.

Sorry about the image I am having trouble with photobucket and logging in at the moment, As soon as I can upload the image I will sort this out.

Managed to get the basic texture done, obviously got to dirty it up etc, But I am pretty happy with the result. Got the poly count down to 3600 which was a little higher than I hoped.
Let me know if you like.

I don't know why you've had so few comments tbh! Thats a lovely model and texture. Honestly, when i scrolled through quickly, I thought the last set of pictures started with a photo you were showing as your reference so that can't be bad! Nice work!

You are VERY good at modeling accurately from blueprints. I'd love to see you model a weapon or car of some sort.

90% of statistics are completely inaccurate.

Many thanks for the comments guys.

AndrewT: Yes I do use blueprints and photograps and even youtube to make my models, The internet is a valuable resource when modelling. I have made a few cars in my time but there are so many people who specialise in them and do them much better than me. I prefer to stick with military vehicles and aircraft from world war 2, Its just my thing.

Do you use Maya?
You really need to sharpen your renders, they arevery blurry and had to se the effort you have out in the model.
Looks nice though!

These are really nice models. Can you put a model of a person in the scene so that we can see your scale?

The images are a little out due to photobucket resizing them I only realised what they where doing after I had posted the last one, If you follow the link to turbosquid you will see much clearer images.Sorry no I dont use Maya got Max 6.0 instead.

I will place an human model in the picture tonight.

I give up with this banner thing as it never seems to work for me. I will now stop wasting mu time.

If someone says "pls" because it is shorter than "please" I say "no" because it is shorter than "yes"...
