Hey everyone.
Im a bit too bored,so i decided to make you free cover arts for your game.I can do most things,i can make it look good.Or crappy,if you want, hehe.
Here are some examples.

This was made as a signature/spray for some Source games,so if you see it,im there. =D

And this is a example cover. =D

I hope to hear something from ya people,

TSA

P.S : Just click the image to see it at original size =D

P.P.S : If you want to *order* cover art, they're all done in DVD box formats,my copyright is somewhere (not too big) and tell me how you would like it to be.
Required is = Name, basic details, what kind of pictures (Link to those pictures if you want).

It looks nice in general, but I would like to give some constructive comments. Well, first of all, the image lacks balance to it. The bottom is more complex than the top and the rule of thirds is not implimented here. Also, the transitions between the layers of the image are rough and could be better. I hope these comments help in the future. Overall, great work, really, but a little input never hurt. Hoping to see more.

Here's an idea for a title screen rather than a cover if that's ok.

I'd like the Earth, but very little if any green is left. Oceans are evaporating and there is little left but desert everywhere. The sun is nearing the end of it's life, and when it swells up before it's final gasp, it will grow to a size that will consume the Earth.

I'd like a picture with the Earth basically cooking as the sun approaches.

Would that be something you'd be willing to do?

@Hybrid, That's cool. Can you do it without the bright spot and the lens flare? I'm finding it hard to describe exactly, but I think what I'm after is the ability to see just some of the sun, or it can just fill the background, with an angled shot of the earth with the surface facing the sun being on fire.

Thanks.

Very nice.

Could you maybe stop the fire on the Earth at the horizon and make it so we can see a few recognizable continent shapes? (that way just by looking at the picture they can tell that it's the Earth)

I have to say I'm very jealous of both of you. I know I don't have the right applications to make this stuff, but I also realize I don't have nearly the skills required.

So you mean that the polars are still recognisable and theres still some water?

TSA.

P.S : Besides,if you want to learn Photoshop, download the 30 days trail, get some tutorials,do some small jobs or something to get up money =D
Or buy it from Ebay or Amazon or something else that fits you,its cheaper =D

Something like that. I'm not quite sure how to pull it off properly, but I guess the water is going to have to still be there. Maybe not the poles, but something so a few continents can be recognized.

Well, since the sun is kinda close to the Earth, would it make sense the seas are dryed up (partly)?
If its okay to you ill make it looks like its partly dried up,if not ill make it normal ^^

Is something like this okay? It looks a bit umm.. Weird. Theres some Sand around whats left of the oceans to make it give a feeling its dryed out. If the idea's okay, ill try and smoothen it to make it looks more realistic, water and land together aint my best. ^
If the ideas good ill make it better and more realistic

TSA,
No thanks. Im just bored xD

Can you incorporate this into it?

Maybe something like this, and then on the surface sort of wrap the fire around ever so slightly..

If I'm being to picky by all means tell me to shut up. You're doing this for free and I think it's fantastic..

Something like that.. I'm basically trying to picture how it would look from space if the sun actually did expand out to envelope the earth.

I think i figured out your saying, you want to picture how it would look from space that if the sun *ate* the earth to grow or something similar,am i right?

Anyways, ive made it a bit more to how you wanted (Again xD)
And no,your not picky,Ive known people..far..far.FAR worse..

@Hybrid. Sorry, didn't mean to be confusing. As the sun expands out, the side of the earth facing the sun would at some point just light on fire, and spread as a growing circle around the earth.

The moment that I'm trying to capture for this splash screen is where you can see the edge of the fire coming around the earth.

@TSA, we're getting much closer.

The side of the earth facing us should be less red, and maybe a little darker. I've drawn a line on the earth, would it be possible for that to be the advancing fire and everything behind it is on fire?

[edit]
I'm actually waffling back and forth on some points aren't I. Sorry.
I think it's because each new version I see gives me another idea to make the original idea better. (feature creep..)

So everything behind that line is where fire has to come? Thats quite easy ^^ Ill send a screenshot when its done =D

EDIT : That advancing fire is kind of not working this time,i dont know,it kind of bugs me cause simetimes it works and sometimes not.
Is it bad if there is no advancing fire but everything under fire?

That should work. All we can do is try right?

About Photoshop, I'm just guessing here, but I assume it has a LOT more features than Paint Shop Pro..

I'd settle for an older version though...

Maybe I'll check out Paint Shop Pro 9. It's a couple of years old, but it's probably got more going for it than PSPro 7, which is what I'm using now.

What worked for me was to buy an "old" copy of Photoshop on eBay. It'll be fairly cheap. And if you want, you could then legally upgrade to the current version for a lot less than buying it outright.

I get most of my software this way.

If the #2 pencil is so popular why is it still #2?
