Help me out here. I'm a bit confused. I purchsed Dark Game SDK 162(Commercial) a while ago but never really used it and I havent been keeping up with it. I mainly have been using DBP. I want to start using it now but I'm not sure of the difference between DGSDK and and DarkGDK aside from the fact that it's free, it's for Express 2008 and there are plugins for it now. The reason I really never used my DGSDK is because no support for the plugins (i.e DarkAI, Dark Physics...ect).

I have VS 2005. I poked around for the answers but the only posts I could find pertaining to DGSDK are from 2006. So I have some questions.

1. Is DGDK the same as DGSDK or is it the upgrade to DGSDK?
2. Will DGDK work on VS 2005?
3. Is my license still commercial for DGDK?

1. They are the same. Dark Game SDK was renamed to DarkGDK.

2. AFAIK: NO! But you can use VC++ 2008 Express for commercial games with no problem.

3. Probably, but you might want to ask TGC directly.
