I have read the team request thing and I agreed completely with it. I was about to post a team request following the rules when I saw on this board-
Quote: "!!! Do ---NOT--- Post Team Requests Here !!! "

Does that mean even if it follows the rules?

thanks!

Basically what we say here is that if you havnt done anywork other than thought of the idea we slap you.

also if your game hasnt got a line of code we slap you

also unless there is some concept art we slap you

also if you dont have something we can atleast play we will slap you

also have a damned good original idea or we will slap you

you getting the idea now/
get your project almost complete so its a playable game with place holders, do some concept art of the stuff you require, have some sort of story ( does not apply to games like asteroids, pacman etc).

Basically creating models for a complete game takes a hell of a lot of time, each model can take upto 2-3 days, characters 2-3 weeks, we aint gonna waste our time if you havnt put in the sweat as well, there have been to many of these requests in the past in which modellers have spent weeks creating stuff for the game not to be finished.

Thanks, and I know it takes a while to model stuff, I am half a modeler myself.

I think you answered my question. So, now get to work on writing up a good team request thing.

Thanks agian.

You see, at TGC, we like to slap people.

Kidding of course, but I think the point of that thread is to tell you not to use the 3D Chat board to post team requests. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you're supposed to get a reasonable amount done, then post it on the WIP board and see if anyone wants to help.
