Hey guys! I'm using DBPRO to make a simple 3d rpg. I hope i can make myself understood with the following problems:
What is an easy way to make a sword(for example) to animate along with my 3d model without having any animation set on sword? i know about the "glue object to limb" command but as you know that only position and rotate the sword depending on my object. But i want the weapon change position/rotation depending on my 3d model's hand movement. Is there any way to attach the sword to a vertex? I'm asking this because i want to have multiple weapons and as player grows in level i can just delete the prev weapon and load new one and position it in his hands...:-|

My second isue is about armours. I want to have the armour deform along with my model. I don't want to create tons of models with different armours just to have the same model with different clothing. how can i simplify that?

Maybe it doesn't make a lot of sense what i'm saying. I'm not an english speaker but i hope i can get a little help with this.

Thank you!

If the all of the human models have the same proportion then you could just use different armors and place them on the humans with a simple limb. That means you would have separate characters, weapons and armors that are all compatible.

Ok but... if i have some pants as limb they wont deform when the feet are animated. That's what i'm trying to achieve... a deformation of a non-animated object produced by my model's foot. Is it possible? Or the only solution is to animate the pants as well?
