Looks pretty good, you should add a bit of an edge on the blade, like a slightly lighter spot with a brushed metalish texture.

I would have added some edge when I rendered a UV map image that would have all the texture detail in one image rather than using 3 seamless images. But when I rendered the UV map image, a lot of it was cut off—I blame Mod Tool for messing it up on purpose because it's a "demo" version >_>

Uh..what? Sorry I didn't understand that >< The UV map was cut off?

I've never heard of Mod Tool so can't offer any advice.

I wasn't so happy with the way my handle turned out so this will be the new material. It's more true to the way I wanted it at first.

Oh.... Hmm.

The version of XSI Mod Tool I had was giving me grief, so I deleted it and installed a fresh one from the SoftImage site and now it can't open my battle axe project. So I'll have a chance to start over, and make it better than before. Perhaps now a few "glitches" (like the problem I had with the rendermapper) will be gone as well.

Ok, I was able to make it almost exactly like the last one, except I think it looks more solid—and I made this one faster

I will see if I can correctly export a rendermap this time.

Really like the texture! Great job! Maybe grunge the handle up a bit? 'Cause the sweaty warriors holding it probably aren't washing their hands that regularly

If someone says "pls" because it is shorter than "please" I say "no" because it is shorter than "yes"...

the texture really makes it look great.

you should add scratch marks and other character building dealios to the blade and stuff
