FPS Creator X10 / Spotlights/Lighting in General

I am having a lot of trouble getting a low ambiance environment to realize a spotlight, specifically the "searchlight night" item. Any ideas? Also, how does one intensify the lighting on an individual light?

I'm a newbie to this, sorry for my ignorance.

I saw that post. I guess what i meant to ask was has anyone used the specific entity "searchlight night" item and got it to work correctly without have to write a custom script? Also can't get streetlights to work. Is this an X10 issue or am I mistaken to think that these items actually illuminate a dark area?

there is no moving lighting, so spotlight movement(the light) cant be done

Moving lights are not currently available in FPSC.

There is an animated search light in model pack 2 which uses a trasparent search light and shader to create a similar effect but you cant actually have moving light sources following way points for example.

That's what I figured out. I finally understand that the models need to be lit, they don't actually provide lighting.

I'm still trying to figure out what entities can do and what they can't. Thanks for the insights.
