Did you read the X10 requirements?
Or the DirectX 10 Card Compatibility thread?

If they made it work with older technology, then it wouldn't be X10!

Well mines only 6 months old and its already outdated in comp tech. Which means I have to buy new cards again to update a brand new computer already. If they keep making us upgrade in any gaming area would you pay $70 for a game if you knew that your 6 month old comp was already outdated and it would cost an extra $150 at the least to fix it?

6 months ago you made a decision to buy a mainstream system. Personally I usually take a bit of a risk and get newer technology. Just because the computer is new, doesn't mean the technology is new.

The only regret I had was when I went with SATA drives when they first came out. What a pain trying to get drivers installed when Windows didn't recognize SATA. Of course now it's a no brainer.
