My english is'nt ver good, but I try to explain my problem.

I find out that it is really hard to import models or BSP levels.
I make my models with Milkshape 3d but DBPro shuts down if I load it. Only the .X format is working but even that format isnt working when my model has got Animations.

And the BSP problem is:
I make the levels with the Valve Hammer Editor ans use the Counter-strike textures. If i load the Level into DBPro I can Only see it when I'm in a wall, and even then I cannot see everything.

Please help me or I can't use DB.

Hi there,

When you say that
Quote: "DBPro shuts down"

I'm assuming that you mean it crashes. Is this because you are trying to directly load a Milkshape file ? Remember that DBP can only load in certain file formats.

Make sure you have the latest Upgrade 4.1

From what I know, only .X formats work well.
I have heard that people have had problems using Milkshape when they export their models into .X

Make sure that you have the correct settings before exporting.

Or as a alternative you could download a .3DS to .X converter from http://www.3drad.com/download/winconv3ds.zip

As for the BSP problem, please could you please post a screenshot, as I would be able to help you more.

From what you have said it could be that your starting playing position maybe wrong and that is why things look odd.

I hope that helps ya, but please provide more information and especially screenshots help.

Vulcan Omega is closer than you think !

I don't try to import ms3d files, first I export them into the .X format. Tomorrow(German time) I'll post a screenshot.
If I move around I only see a blue screen, except I'm in a wall, so I dont think that the start position is wrong.

It might take some time before I can put a screenshot here, because I forgot the login datas (for the FTP Server) that I need to upload the shot.
