Here is a pic of a model I have been working on for the past couple of hours. It is the xm8. It's project got cancelled a few years ago so it will never make it into battle but I really like the design and look of it.

it is around 950 polys. I am working on UV mapping it right now and then I will animate it.

I'll probably give it away for free because I am sure it isn't good enough for the store. But i'll see.

Just remember, when creating the texture, build up the detail using a few hundred layers. This looks great so keep at it, you hear?

Wow thanks.
I am working on putting some final deatils on the mesh. Then I will map it. I am really working hard at getting good at texturing(which is really my weak point) thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the critiques and complements.

I have layout out the uvs and started on texturing it. right now it is just block colors for the most part but I have only just started working on it.

this looks nice but u need to add just a few more polygons. around the barrel that will help to define the shape of the gun.
