I had an idea, which I have decided to pursue. To attract more members to the forums and to get more people into modelling, scripting and the competitive spirit I have decided to create a group. The aim of the group is to have a competition each month, with worthy prizes and lots of entrants.
To start with I'd like to make a team, with a few positions. Basically, the team use a chat board I have made to converse (or e-mail each other) and discuss plans, prizes and what the competition should be about. I intend to get it advertised in the newsletter aswell.
The competitions will vary. One month there will be a modelling competition, another a scripting one and the next maybe even a tutorial one?
The aim is to get as many people involved as possible. The competitions should be as open as possible. For example, instead of a Horror Character Competition it will just be a Modelling Competition.
The criteria has still to be decided, but it will consider as many factors as possible. The competitions will be fare, sometimes with handycaps, so that almost anyone can enter.
Every month there will be differrent judges (judges will be on a rota). This is so that the judges may enter.
