I had this great idea, but figured it might need an FPI Script or something, so I thought I might ask.

Basically, I thought it might be possible to make an arcade style game using waypoints. Would this be possible, and if so, how could I do this?

Like a space invaders with waypoints? Is that what you're saying?

More like House of the Dead, Are 51 or Time Crisis.

I don't think the player can be controlled by scripts.

Hmmm...what about disabling the movement controls and having an invisible platform that follows the waypoints and have the player positioned on it. Could that possible work?

Gunn3r made a tutorial for something like this, I think you should be able to find it if you search the boards. If not, it's available at the Gunn3r Games forum; http://www.gunn3rgames.net/forum/.

Lol, yeah. I have these periods of posting tons of posts for a while, then I'm like nearly posting nothing sometimes.
