Dark GDK / Default Directory?

I've always copied the loading stuff from the game sample projects. Does anyone know the default directory? Is it the project's directory, or what?

I just went through this this afternoon. The default directory is the project directory when you're running the program from the compiler/debugger. So only one copy of media needs to be maintained. However, if you run it from Windows Explorer it's the directory the executable is in.

when you load images and media, you can use long pathnames to find what you need:
