Well, is it? I didn't really find anything on the forum that would help me decide.

There needs to be a demo. 70 bucks is a lot of money for something you're unsure of.

It really depends on certain things.

Is your computer powerful enough already to run X10?
The X10 engine has quite a lot of bugs. Are you happy enough to keep changing your levels until you find something that works without upsetting something else in your level? Are you happy to keep on rearranging and changing earlier parts of your levels as the later parts start to make earlier parts go wrong?

If the ansewer is yes to the above then it is worth buying.

If your computer needs upgrading then I would think about waiting until X10 has been updated and shows signs of being more stable, by then hardware will have reduced in price and better hardware will be available. I see no point in rushing to upgrade a computer for X10 just yet as the program is a big disappointmnet at the moment due to the amount of bugs.

The engine should get an upgradr eventually, and all the bugs ironed out, but if you do buy, at least you will already know what to expect from it until it is updated.

There are quite a few X10 users in limbo with their games at the moment due to the problems with the engine.
