Right now I am working on a futureistic human. I haven't gotten so far, just the body, hands, feet. I still need to do the head (hardest part...)

Here is the picture that I drew to make it easier to model. I am terrible at drawing, so it doesn't look so good.

here is my W.I.P.-

(Sorry for the wierd colors, it just helps me figure out which part is which, the texture will be much better.)

I am going to make the figure much more smooth, I just needed to get the basic shape. I was wondering what you thought of it and to see if you think I could add more. I also have to add the spikes.

Thanks.

[edit] Yikes, the reference picture came out HUGE!!! My bad.....

yeah, they aren't too good, since this is like the first time I am modeling a human, I am not so sure how to make good arms. It is supposed to be like a suit of armor or something. Any ideas of how to make the arms better?

Wait you are using blender right? Then the tutorials at http://www.montagestudio.org can help you a lot, look at the one with the "modeling low poly character in blender" it helped me understand how to model properly

Yes, I am using blender, and I tried to find a tutorial of a human, but either it was a stick figure, really HIGH poly, like in the billions, or it was only a part of the human and it wasn't writen so well.

I am downloading the file now, I would just watch it, but I think I will probably need it in the future, so it is always better to just have it.

Thanks.

Wow, from that turoial, I learned that I knew close to nothing about modeling a human.

The tutorial was good, and I think I will trash the model above and start fresh.

Thanks, now I actually know what I am doing when modeling a human.

[edit] When trying to open blender, it kept on showing the model that I made above. It wouldn't go to the default. I checked the .b.blend file and I must have saved over that.

Well, I ended up re-downloading blender, because there was a glitch and I couldn't do undo, so it is working now.

Thanks though.
