Hi there,
I'm completely new to writing DLLs. I've tried the simple tutorial on the DBPro website but it doesn't seem to work, probably because I'm using VC 5.0. But the error is actually when I run the DBP program; it can't seem to recognise the new function in the DLL. I've checked directories and file names but nothing seems amiss. Could someone please help or at least point me to some good net resources on how to write DLLs properly. I've done a Google search but most come up nada.

Many thanks,
HWT

I think that your best course of action is to get a more recent compiler (anything from 6 on upwards) - there aren't likely to me many people who know anything at all about earlier versions.

The VC Express 2008 compiler works well and is free - it doesn't come with a resource editor, so you can either create your resource files by hand, or use a third-party editor (for example http://resedit.net/ or maybe http://www.wilsonc.demon.co.uk/d10resourceeditor.htm)
