Okay, I've already done my homework on this and I've yet to find a thread on this issue.

My questions:
1. Is there any way to implement leg or arm detachment?
-Essential for decapitations. Needed for plan A, genuine blood and gore.

2. Is it possible to create dynamic deformities?
-Essential for gashes.

3. Is it possible to spawn an entity at a specified entity location?
-Needed to create flying chunks of meat.

4. Does the alternate texture command switch the current texture on an entity when activated?
-Needed to (A)add bloodstains or (B)faux gashes on the entity.

5. Can an entity be switched with a different entity upon activation?
-Needed for Plan B, gore by switching models.

6. Whether or not FPSC 1 supports gore, can FPSC x9 or x10 make this possible?
-If I need to switch editors, fine.

Any theories or help would be great. Thanks!

ACTUALLY- I believe you could write a script that spawns gibs after x entity is destroyed, x entity being a character.

And 3 might be possible with a similar script. Look in the scripting boards.

Well, I guess I'll have to do this the hard way. It'll be time-consuming to make a script and tweak it to adequacy. I'm up to the challenge nonetheless. If I happen to succeed I'll be sure to keep you guys posted. Thank you for your input!

For three, use a triggerzone to spawn your meat chunk, but have the entity engraved in another entity that is static. When your flesh entity spawns, it will be pushed out and give the effect of flying gore. This can be applied to many scenarios. I once made a game where boxes move supposedely on their own.

If it feels good, it's a sin.
