Well I installed this and had a few errors. I finally got it to work once I updated it, but now I seem to have a major problem. When I flick the flashlight on or off, it creates this big "flash". I have the ambient level set to zero, so what am I doing wrong?

Try asking the guy who created the flashlight.

Well I guess I could send him a PM. Anyways I was just wondering if they've had the same problem before, or if they know how to fix it...

I suggest e-mailing him... You won't ever find a PM system over here.

The flash is caused by the ambient light increasing before the hud appears.I dont remeber right off but you could try changing the order of events in the script, see if the hud appears first,it may be tho' that the hud will always take longer to load.

Alright Rolfy, I'll check that out.

Also nice avatar.

EDIT: Ok, I went a looked at the script. I have no clue how to edit it, I'm very new to script editing.

Rolfy is right. It is because it takes longer to load the hud than it does to change the ambience. I don't think it can be fixed.

Try changing this line:

To this:

Haven't tested it, but it may work.

I can't believe I didn't think of that. That may work. I am going to test it out later.

If it still didn't work it is because it takes longer to load the hud than to change the ambience.

Well, Hmm. How would we fix that?

EDIT: I recently played one of the Darkest Island game, and I really loved its flashlight. Now how might I convert that "flashlight" so I can use it, and make a hud for it.
