I can't figure out how to add that python script thingy for blender. When i start blender, it says no python detected.(no freaky snakes around )

I got that python thingy here.
http://python.org/download/

By the way, can i still do good without python or should i really get that python support on my blender.

PS. I dont like snakes and I dont use blenders in the kitchen. Just joking

It says that for me too. I think it means you don't have a python editor, or something...The scripts run fine for me.

I thought python was like an operating system type programming language how does it relate to 3d models?

People use it to create scripts to manipulate 3d models, like in terrain generators, or to export to different formats, etc.

Also Blender is a program hard-coded with Python.

You need to download the Python Runtime, then it should work. You might have downloaded the wrong version, click the link and get it on that page. Some scripts require it, also it comes with an IDE so you can write scripts for Blender.

Its so much work getting that python on blender. I'll just ignore it for now. It's no gonna ruin any features on blender, right?

I dont think ill be using any scripts because i have no idea how to do them.

THanks
