can someone explain to me how to do the get started tutorial for the hello world-(noob here), because i don't think i am copying the image and placing it in the project directory correctly.

Put it in THIS path
C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USER NAME]\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\[YOUR PROJECT NAME]\[YOUR PROJECT NAME]

there should be a .cpp file there too..
