I think they are good. I like how you got to the point and it was eay to understand. Now if only your 3d tutorial was out when I got DBPro because I would have learned it much faster than I already did.

Quote: "The easiest way to describe a Variable is to think about it as a box. The box has a name in front of the box, And we want to put something into the box, like a number or a piece of text. This data we store into the box can be changed, we can pick it up to use it, and put it back into the box."

much better way of explaining then my

Unfortunately, as tutorials are aimed at beginners, the target audience will more than likely accept whatever they read as being correct and think they are good - when in fact they are being fed incorrect information.

I've only read the first tutorial linked to above, but due to the errors (at the time of reading), I feel duty bound to say that these tutorials are not endorsed by TGC and those of you learning to program should not assume that the information contained in them is 100% correct.

They are however on a private web site which we have no control over and it's up to the site owner to correct the information.

Remember, just because something on these forums has the word 'tutorial' attached to it does mean that it is a tutorial - or that the information within it is factual or 100% correct.

TDK, I am fully aware of these tutorials is not 100% correct. The commands is correct as far as I know. But as for the description for the commands...Well, I only tell people how the way I understand them.

Just checked the examples and there is no wrong with them, only one mistake in the first with the set text size though.

As I said, the descriptions may not be 100% correct. But there are tons of other tutorials and even the helpfile where you can get the reference to all this.

I will look further into the meaning of the commands before posting my next tutorial (If any next tutorial *haha).

Thanks for pointing that out TDK.

Best wishes // Nackidno

Then you shouldn't release them for people to learn by without fully understanding the material yourself.
