Hi!
first, sorry for my bad English, I'm a French user.
So, I want to to make a man float in water, as if he had drowned.

Thanks for your future help (I hope )

Import a character model as a static entity then rotate the model until facing down and position in some water.

FPSC X10 has water physics so you'll just need to play with the characters physics weight value until he floats as required.

I don't think you can spawn a character already in a dead state so you'll need to make him a static entity to start with or fight him in the water and see how this works with rag doll.

To spawn a dead character you only have to set the spawn life or what it is called to 1, after 1 sec he will die. Make sure you make the corpse last very long time so it doesnt disapear.

Hope it works, havent tried it

But wouldn't he spawn standing up?
You'd see him drop unless you triggered the spawn while you were somewhere else.

How do you know not many people drown like that? I assume you've gathered that from movies and TV?

When you're in the water it's quite easy to be moved around, there is a strong chance a character could end up face-up.

...there's a 50/50 chance that the corpse will float face up.

What position the person was in when they died will play a huge role in determining how the lifeless body will rise to the surface.

For the long dead, gas and bloating will also dictate the position of the corpse on the water surface...
