Since I am totaly out of ideas for models, I decided to ask the community for ideas, and give something back at the same time.

How it works:
Tell me a model you want wich is tied to the current theme (check further down), give me as much information as possible and if you find, one or more referencepictures.

I make the model, texture and exports it to the formate you want, I can even make it FPSC ready. Then I send it to you.

Free you say?
You will get the model for free, for commercial and non-commercial use (you dont even have to credit me), but I still got the rigths to release the model in a pack. Free or not. But you will still be the first to use the model.

What kind of models?
I can amke everything wich is not animated (characters, weapons etc). I mainly do furniture and such but I could also make non-animated weapons.

Current theme:
Fanatsy,medieval (to celebrate Realmcrafter)

Feel free to ask any questions you have.

Attached is a pic of a sodamachine I made a time ago.

Rigth now it is 230 triangles, I could trim it down a little bit but I dont think I can get it down to 100 without making it look uggly. Yes, I can make a normalmap for it.

Attached is a wip pic of it. if it looks OK i will start texture it.

Thanks.....

I need you to make a kind of sci-fi generator, I've got a screenie attached of a concept I quickly drew up for it.....

It's just a re-adapted cylinder with a metal texture I guess, I've got everything else I need for it, and I would do it myself but Milkshape is being evil......

Thanks again mate....

@BVG

Thanks, that looks great! The panel is just sort of to control it, like a little num-pad t set energy production rate, and stuff like that......

It'll just be part of the texture......

@BIG Viking Games- Would u please make a chariot similar to the attached picture. I would like the chariot walls to be made of iron/ steel. I would also like the rims persay on the chariot to have spikes sticking off them to cut people as the chariot attacks them. Thank you very much for making stuff for the community.

All the best,
Beastegargoyle

Errm just a comment but:

Quote: "i ment 1000 not 100 sorry so u can go much more detailed.
"
posted by Hokkshot, Is very very incorrect. A model of this scale should barely excede 400 polys at the very max, A sword takes up very little pixels on the users screen unlike in a FPS, so really you should be aiming between 200 and 399

Heres a couple of quick tri guidelines for Realmcrafter:

Sword or weapon: 200 - 399
Animated character, NPC, MONSTER: 800-2000 ( RC STD )
Small Scenery ( Candle, book, lantern ): 100 polys
Medium Scenery ( Table, Chair, fireplace): 200-300 polys
Large Scenery ( House, buildings, busses, trains): 300-500 polys

Texture Sizes:
Characters: Two 512x512 any higher isnt really needed.
Weapon: 128x128 - 256x256 (depending on size and detail )
Small scenery: 128x128
Medium Scenery: 256x256
Large scenery: 512x512

These are just guidelines to the MAX AMOUNT OF TRIS ( not quads!!!!) and the max amount texture sizes. If you stay within these limits then your game has more opportunity for working on lower end machines.

Textures effect VRAM, so keep them low if possible.

Polygon count although isnt as large a effect as texture sizes, keep it small as possible.

May I redirect you to this:

So it will be taking up the screen...

EDIT I'm just saying this because since you have to look at the sword should probably more detailed. But I think it's his decision.

Can I have a human character? Make it look as generic as possible, I'm going to do a mesh editor thing in my game so you can make the face and body look how you want. Like, there's a Fat-Thin slider that controls how fat the thing is, you know?

Doesn't have to be animated, I'll do that myself.

Attached is the .x and texture map in a zip.

Cheers!

P.S. 210 Triangles and 630 Vertices.. Not gonna try to make it below 100 tri's.

Zuka, I dont really like to make characters, animated or not. Henry Ham made a free humanmesh at the FPSC forum (in the model threads somewere).

Dar13, I will see what I can do.

David Gervais, eh.. thanks..? It looks good.
But this is my model thread (you can keep your post, dont worry)
