these are some pictures from a spaceship im making,
i plan to use it in my upcoming game, please leave some feedback, this is only a part of the engine, more coming soon!

How can that be 6500 polygons? That's way overkill.

Looks decent, but 6500 poly's is way too much for the amount of detail you have. Also, I'm assuming you know that those glow effects for the engine and window won't show up in Dark Basic unless you use alpha maps?

yup i know that i have to use alpha maps, but i've got no idea what alpha maps are or how you make them, so i think i have to search for that.
And i know 6500 poly's is much, the engines take a whole lot of it, the little fins on the beginning, i'll see if i can throw some kind of polycrusher over it

but i'm gonna use it in cutscenes, not in the actual game, because this ship will be used only for a very short period of time.
