Hey everyone

I purchased DBpro last weekend. After installing and registering, I installed the update from the DPpro section on this website. The install was successfull, but when I look at the 'about' box in the DBpro editor, I see version 1.054. However, the update states that it's update 6.9 (or something close to that versionnumber).

Is the editor's versionnumber attached to the version of the editor? And second, is there a way to check if the compiler is indeed using the latest update?

Thanks in advance!

It sounds like at least one of the files didn't update correctly. Just run the installer again. If it gives you the option, select the 'repair' option - it's a newer installer and I can't remember what it prompts you for.

What, after all updates I've installed, it has always read version 1.054 in the about dialog.
I thought it just was the way it was; are you saying that all my updates during the years have failed at some point?

Mine right now reads 1.069 - If it doesn't change when I update, I run the update again. Then I'm sure that I've got the complete update.

Have you also update the IDE?

There's also an editor update beyond the 109b update - take a look at the 'previous release details' thread in the Bug Report forum.

It's an unofficial update but does cure a few bugs. Other editors are also available - Blue2, Codesurge & Synergy - which you can find by looking in the program announcements and work-in-progress forums.
