FPSC Classic Product Chat / Error fragMOTION! Need help.

Every time when i import an X. file from the Fps Creator with the fragMOTION software, i got this error: ERROR LOADING TEXTURE!
It works and i can past but after i export the character from the Milkshape 3D and paste it in Fps Creator entitybank, i have no texture from character and of course, in gameplay he his invisible...

Anyone could do me a favour and help me out?

hi,

it's looking for an tga.
simply load the .dds and you have the texture in fragmotion.
but i think this has nothing to do with your milkshape or fpsc problem since you DON'T export any textures from milkshape or fragmotion.
did you export to fpsc with the correct settings and have the right texture in your .fpe file?

Hi Kutte128!

How can i load the .dds into fragMOTION software Kutte?

I import X. characters into fragMOTION from:
C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\entitybank\ww2\characters.

I let (ALL SUPPORTED FILES) but nothing else i can import from Fps Creator to fragMOTION.
The same problem - Error loading texture.

I`m trying just to make dead corpse, that`s all.

I check the tutorial and there`s a skeleton system or whatever he calls but i do not know from where i can download. Maybe this is the answer at my problem? Think not...

Can`t load into fragMOTION anything Kutte. Just OPEN and IMPORT files witch are supported by. I give you a screenshot and see if you can shoot my amateur problem.

You must help me! I need to know how to change the position of the characters from Fps Creator. It`s excelent for an horror game, you know...

Hmm... You could try to convert the DDS to a TGA or a JPG or something. Try DDS Converter:

loading a texture in fragmotion is quite simple.
see pic.

but ... that has nothing to do with your missing texture problem.
even if you load no texture at all, you should see your model simply grey in fpsc not invisible. at least in 1.07. so i think it's a milkshape export problem

btw: to open/convert a dds you can use "irfan view" or the fantastic gimp.there is nice dds a plugin available
